When I was 17, I started a website where I sold my creative talent to punk bands for t-shirts, album covers, and live performance music videos. I called my “company” Get Wise Media, and over time, I grew a solid business that ran on commissioned pieces and paid my rent. Eventually, this period in my life culminated with a summer design internship at Victory Records in Chicago.
