Had to stop in Palm Springs to get a flat fixed.
Camped for free on BLM land on Mt San Jacinto at Thomas Mountain Road.

Day 29: Mount San Jacinto to Crystal Cove, CA

Stopped in adorable Idylwild for breakfast burritos.
Dodgers win Game 1 of the World Series, 3-1 in LA.
Camped at Crystal Cove State Park.

Day 30: Crystal Cove to Palmdale, CA

Stopped at the dog beach in Huntington.
Dodgers win Game 2 of the World Series, 6-7 in LA.

Day 31: Ventura, CA

Day trip from Palmdale.

Day 32: Palmdale, CA

Dodgers lose Game 3 of the World Series, 5-3 in Houston.

Day 33: Palmdale to Santa Rosa, CA

Long drive to an AirBNB for a wedding.
Dodgers win Game 4 of the World Series, 6-2 in Houston.

Day 34: Santa Rosa to Mill Valley, CA

Wedding day!
Dodgers lose Game 5 of the World Series, 13-12 in Houston.

Day 35: Bay Area to Barstow, CA

Camped for free on BLM land at Sawtooth Canyon outside Barstow.

Day 36: Barstow to Winslow, AZ

Dodgers win Game 6 of the World Series, 3-1 in LA.

Day 37: Winslow to San Cristobal, NM

Arrived at our cabin outside Taos.
Congratulations to the stupid Houston Astros, I guess.

After the Grand Canyon, we had a mad dash from the southwest to the Bay Area for a wedding, then back to New Mexico for a month stay on a farm outside Taos. I was pretty emotionally absorbed in the World Series, with my LA Dodgers going for the first time since the year of my birth, and seeing my family in Southern California. I didn’t take a ton of shots in this time, but here are a few from our phones.
